All packed up and ready to leave!

We're packed up and boarding the plane tomorrow! A few things we'll miss in Ft Collins are our friends,

The Food Co-Op. I hope I can find something similar to this wonderful place some day in the future!

The bike culture, and Old Town Yoga. Bye, Fort Collins!

Family Camping at the Ranch

We had a beautiful family camping and visiting weekend at the ranch! Being in such a beautiful setting is the perfect way to spend some quality time with all of you who I'm going to miss so much.

The Ranch

Since I'm leaving Colorado, I'm thinking of all the places I will miss, and a big one is Wilber's ranch where we've been having family reunions for generations. So here are a few pictures to remind me of what fun we had there as kids. The playground,

the driveway where Alice took us horseback riding

the pump where we filled water balloons

the cabin where Rhiannon and I stayed, and I specifically remember all the miller moths

the upside down trike trail
(and I forgot to take a picture of the outhouses)
Stay tuned for pictures of our recent family camping trip at the ranch!

My sister Eden

Eden, 11, is growing up to be a beautiful person, smart and thoughtful and fun to be around! It was really nice to spend some time with her.

North Dakota

I'm in North Dakota with my dad and family. Check out this little bitty airplane!
And the quaint airport with the coffee maker.

Playing pool with my dad and Arlyce,

Jarad's visit

We had a really nice visit from my brother Jarad this week! Jarad flew in from Minnesota and is driving my car back home.

We borrowed a bike from CSU's Ramwheels program and Jarad and I had two beautiful and long bike rides on the trails in Fort Collins. We biked west along the Poudre River Trail to Watkins lake, northwest of Fort Collins. It was beautiful and on a week day the trail was very quiet -- another benefit of not working!

We stopped at New Belgium Brewery for a tasting on the way home.

On Wednesday evening, Shelley and Dave through a really fun barbecue party for Jarad's visit! Thanks to Shelley and Dave, and to the family members who came! Pati,

and Peter. Eliot played some beautiful songs that he wrote and composed and has recorded. Eliot is really good!

Pati, Shelley, Lindy, MaryAlice, and Kimi. It was so nice to get to spend time with you all!
Jarad is now visiting a friend in Durango (and the car made it with no problems!) and he'll head home tomorrow.
